Twohanded Folder Kvar Schnitzel The new model from Schnitzel is here and it's called Kvar! Based on the no-frills design of the popular Schnitzel TRI, a pocket knife has been created that packs a punch. Details: - Schnitzel Kvar, sand, black, green - Blade material: 14C28N stainless steel with blackwashed finish or stonewashed finish - Handle material: G-10, green, sand or black - Overall length: approx. 8.27 inch / 21.0 cm - Blade length: approx. 3.62 inch / 9.2 cm - Blade thickness: approx. 0.14 inch / 3.7 mm - Handle length: approx. 4.72 inch / 12.0 cm - Handle thickness: approx. 0.53 inch / 13.4 mm - Incl. box and sticker - Weight: approx. 5.71 oz / 162 g The Kvar is a two-handed folding knife with a strong back-lock mechanism that gives you security when working. This is why the blade root also has a so-called half-stop, which locks the blade when the knife is closed. The blade of the Kvar is made from the familiar Swedish steel Sandvik 14c28n and is approx. 3.62 inch long. The finish of the blade is stonewashed or blackwashed (vacuum titanium coating), depending on the variant. It is approx. 0.14 inch thick, has a flat grind and runs on bronze washers. As with the Tri, the flat handle scales are made from non-slip and robust G-10. For additional reinforcement of the 0.53 inch wide handle construction, stable stainless steel liners are installed inside the handle scales. The pocket clip allows the Kvar to be safely stored in your trouser pocket and can also be used by left-handers, it can be repositioned as desired. The Kvar is available in four different versions and is supplied in a sturdy box with sticker.

  • SCHNITZEL KVAR: Based on the no-frills design of the Schnitzel TRI, a folding knife has been created that has it all. It is your outdoor knife for all leisure activities, such as camping, bushcraft or hunting
  • BACK-LOCK LOCK: The strong back-lock of this folding knife offers you safety when working, and it also has a half-stop that prevents the blade from snapping shut directly when closing
  • SWEDEN STEEL! The stainless Sandvik 14C28N (58-60 HRC) steel used here is ideally suited for the purposes of the Kvar and thanks to the thick blade, this work knife can routinely master its tasks
  • The non-slip and contoured G-10 handle scales make it extremely robust and incredibly comfortable and, above all, secure in the hand. Left-handers can also use this knife thanks to the reversible clip
  • Designed in Germany! The KVAR is the fourth knife in our popular SCHNITZEL knife series. While the first two knives are intended for children and teenagers, there are now also two knives for parents in the range.
